We propose a day of exploring the best views and the most iconic monuments and landmarks of Porto.

After an early departure from Lisbon, we’ll meet João, your private guide, around 11AM in Porto and start to explore.

Using the old historical center  neighborhoods like Ribeira, Miragaia, Virtudes, Vitória and Clérigos, we’ll visit some of the most iconic landmarks and monuments of Porto.

We’ll also enjoy the best viewpoints for amazing photo opportunities and memories. Always at a slow pace with interesting historical and local details from your private guide, João.

Afterwards we’ll make our way to the mouth of the river Douro, for lunch at a small fishermen’s village to enjoy the catch of the night before on the charcoals.

After lunch we’ll make our way back to the historical center, for a private visit & tasting to one of the oldest Port wine companies.

There, you’ll learn about Port wine and the cellars history as you are slowly guided through corridors of wine soaked barrels and Vats, filled with aging wine, and end with a tasting of a selection of their finest Ports.

After our day exploring Porto, João will drop you off at your boutique hotel, in the middle of the historical center, booked by us for your night in Porto, to freshen up before dinner.

We also took care of the reservation for dinner at a portuguese cuisine restaurant run by an upcoming chef, with the perfect combination of traditional portuguese food and modern creativity.

We suggest a morning for personal time to explore on your own. 

João will give you a few suggestions of neighborhoods to visit or specific locations if you have something in mind you would like to see. And all details are sent to your email with Maps links so you can explore at ease.

We can also make a lunch reservation and after lunch, your private car will meet you outside to start your trip back to Lisbon.
