Porto City of the future 2018/19
FDi – Intelligence Magazine, a leading publication in the Financial Times and a reference in business and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), has just announced the “European Cities and Regions of the Future 2018/19” Awards, placing Porto in the 8th ranking in the European Mid-Sized Cities of the Future 2018/19.
The FDi considered 489 regions and 301 cities, organizing them into six categories to reach the “European Cities of the Future” ranking. In the implemented methodology were considered quantitative and qualitative indicators in categories that include infrastructures, cost efficiency, business environment, economic potential, labor market and IDE strategy.
This recognition follows the position that Porto obtained in 2014/15 as 3rd Best City to Invest in Southern Europe (3rd Best City to Invest in Southern Europe – fDi Intelligence European Cities and Regions of the Future 2014/15) .
